Hertfordshire Cohort Study Public Meeting

We would like to say a big thank you to all who attended the Hertfordshire Cohort Study public meeting and made the event such a success. Over 300 “Hertfordshire babies”, family and friends attended the meeting on 8th July 2014 at the Hertford Theatre. This was an opportunity to feedback news of scientific findings and publications to some of the cohort members.

One participant, Mr John Harwood, commented on the day saying “I have found all these studies really fascinating, and in some ways it has given me a M.O.T.”

Professor Cooper said “This event is an acknowledgement that none of our work would have been possible without the continued help and support of the Hertfordshire Cohort Study participants and a chance to tell people about the results of the studies they have helped us with in recent years. We would also like to thank the General Practitioners of Hertfordshire who have helped us so much over the years.”

For those of you who were unable to make the event we hope you will be able to join us next time.
