July 22 2013	‘Obesity: Intergenerational programming and consequences’ Symposium Part of the International Union of Physiological Sciences Congress 2013 (21-26 July 2013), The International Convention Centre, The International Convention Centre, UK. This symposium will take place at the 2013 Congress of the International Union of Physiological Sciences which attracts physiologists from across the globe. It will highlight insight from several species on the impact of maternal diet and obesity on offspring physiology and discuss the underlying integrated mechanisms from whole body physiology to epigenetic mechanisms which may operate over several generations.
